Our story
Built on
the bench.
Franco Interiors & Projects began with one cabinet-maker, a small Johannesburg workshop and a stubborn belief that things made by hand should outlast the people who buy them.
Since 2009
What started as one-off commissions — a wardrobe here, a kitchen there — grew, by word of mouth, into a full studio. Today Franco designs, builds and installs complete interiors across Johannesburg, but the workshop is still the centre of everything we do.
We never became a factory on purpose. Staying small keeps us honest: the person who measures your room is the same person who cuts the timber and hangs the door. Nothing is sub-contracted out and forgotten. If a joint isn't right, it doesn't leave the bench.
That's the whole idea behind Franco — interiors and projects made properly, by people who'll still be here in ten years to stand behind them.
What we stand for
Four rules we don't break
Made by hand
Real joinery, honest materials, finishes that get better with age — not flat-pack dressed up.
One team, start to finish
We design, build and install in-house. No hand-offs, no finger-pointing, one standard throughout.
Fixed, clear quotes
Itemised pricing and materials named up front. You know what you're paying for before we start.
Finished when promised
We plan realistically and protect your timeline — then we snag every detail before we leave.
The people
Who you'll work with
A small, senior team — you'll deal with the same faces from first visit to final handover.
